Chipotle Unveils Gold Burritos, Magazine about Gold Burritos

So I’m pretty miffed. I’m a journalist and I frequent the local Chipotle more times than should be allowable by human law and etiquette. Yet today, Chipotle announced that it has started its own magazine, – The Gold Burrito Digest – and I don’t see my name anywhere on the masthead. The shame.

For starters, I would have written a much better press release. You can’t have “Limited Time Unlimited Time Only” marketing programs, Chipotle. Also, silver aluminum foil is not iconic. It’s aluminum foil. But I guess I can put all this behind me and continue to dine at your establishments. It’s really the only nourishment I get.

It’s March; Let the Madness Begin!

My Golden Tickets!

Fair warning: this blog is about to become all college basketball, all the time. It’s March 1st, and though the Madness has yet to officially begin, it will be here before you know it.

This is my Christmas. My Fourth of July. This is what New Year’s Eve would be like if it lasted a whole month. Can. Not. Wait.

There are still a few more games left before the conference tournaments start. There are even seven Top 25 teams playing tonight. But if the regular season was any indication of what the National Tournament has in store for us, I fully expect some major upsets. It could even be a year in which no number one seeds make it to the Final Four.

Dancing with the Stars: The Season 12 Cast Announced

I hate that I’m going to say this. Hate it. But I am seriously underwhelmed by this season’s DWTS cast.

While I at least know who a majority of the celebrity dancers are this time around, I don’t feel like there’s anyone that an audience can seriously root for, save for maybe Kirstie Alley.

Don’t get me wrong, I’ll still tune in, and I’ll still develop a love affair with one of the dancers and root for them and defend every heel-toe and Paso Doble. But after last season, I feel like ABC could have done a bit better job. Also, do we think Derek Hough is kicking himself for taking this season off, considering he definitely would have been paired with Petra Nemcova?
