Dancing with the Stars: Season 14 Cast Revealed!

Sadly I didn’t make my music video in time to catapult myself to fame early enough to make the cast of the upcoming season of DWTS, but don’t worry, I haven’t given up hope yet. You know who did make the Season 14 lineup? You don’t? Ok, I’ll tell you.

At first glance, the list looks a little ho-hum: Jack Wagner, Melissa Gilbert, Sherri Shepherd, Jaleel White, Martina Navratilova, Maria Menounos, Gladys Knight, Katherine Jenkins, Roshon Fegan, Donald Driver, Gavin DeGraw and William Levy. Some of these people I’ve never heard of. But I think the key to this season is going to be the pairings, which were made for good television:

Call Me, Maybe?

Ok. So last week, Justin Bieber threw down this video for his pal Carly Rae Jepsen, and, yeah, I took it as a challenge (and basically as a way to sing and dance around my apartment with a purpose). I called everyone I knew to get this thing going. Some of them might not be speaking to me anymore. But there were the brave few who knew that this World Premiere First Ever NoMad Blog Music Video Production was going to be epic. And they were right. The conversation went something like this:

Me: I want to make this video so I need you to record yourself lip syncing to this song and then send it to me.
Loved One: Done.

NYC Photos of the Week

It’s been freakishly warm here in NYC, and what better way to spend the days then walking around the ‘hood? And by “‘hood” I mean my neighborhood, which is the Upper East Side, where, aside from my street, which kind of looks like Cleveland Circle, everywhere else is real hoity-toity (that can’t possibly be how that’s spelled).

Don’t even think about trying to buy hot dogs in the grocery store. No sir. How is a girl supposed to make pigs in a blanket for her prospective guests?
