Dancing with the Stars Pairs ‘Em Up!

The next best thing to hearing which celebrities will be doing the tango on DWTS is hearing who they are going to be tango-ing with! On Good Morning America this morning, the much anticipated announcement of the reality show’s pairings was made.

I think the best (scratch that, the most interesting) pairing is going to be The Situation and Karina Smirnoff. Obviously, everyone who Karina is paired with is automatically a love interest, and I think even The Situation can agree that Karina is not a grenade. I also like Jennifer Grey with Derek Hough, because I really want them to recreate the Dirty Dancing finale dance.

As for the pairings I don’t like, Kyle Massey, a nondescript Disney actor, will be dancing with Lacey Schwimmer, by far one of the show’s most inventive choreographers. Also, Corky Ballas is back to dance with Florence Henderson, just like he did with Cloris Leachman. Bitch, they just called you old!

The rest of the cast falls out like this:

Bristol Palin and Mark Ballas
Audrina Patridge and Tony Dovolani
Michael Bolton and Chelsie Hightower
Brandy and Maksim Chmerkovskiy
Margaret Cho and Louis van Amstel
Rick Fox and Cheryl Burke
David Hasselhoff and Kym Johnson
Kurt Warner and Anna Trebunskaya

I am so happy that Jennifer is with Derek. That will be a very hard pair to beat. Although she was pretty stiff as a dancer with Patrick Swayze.

  2. I really admire Jennifer’s tribute to Patrick Swayze. She’s doing Dancing with the Stars for him, class.
