I woke up to a lovely e-mail from Miss Mo Cooke this morning, reminding me and my eight sophomore-year roommates that it’s June 17, or 617, the day everyone should be celebrating the year that all nine of us co-habitated in a three-bedroom dorm and didn’t kill each other.
Between all the “notes from the management,” the trash, the singing, the puke in the middle of the hallway and the Easy Mac (sorry), it’s a wonder we made it through to junior year. But I’m glad it all happened, every single minute, and I wouldn’t change it one bit.
Love to all my ladies. I miss you guys so much!
yaaaaaaaaaaaaay!
I love how that apartment had so much personality. In that picture alone: I’m in my bears jersey, Kelly is in a bball t-shirt, I can see U2, Harry Potter, Fight Club, an inspirational poster, and the octopus lamp.
I’m pretty sure that’s the bottom of the Texas flag at the top. And about 8,000 magazines on the left. And of course, makeshift slipcovers. I wish we could have gotten a shot of the Bruce poster.
That apartment was like textbook college decorating. I think we sent scouts to the poster sale at the beginning of the year.
I love how the only photo of all us is us in pjs. I wish we had a photo of Bruce wearing his birthday hat.
Sorry for the puke in the hallway, at least I did oxi-clean it…haha. Love you all! p.s this just reminded me of when we all went to the BC poster sale together and bought all of the posters for our dorm that we would see hanging in everyone else’s dorm rooms… We had great taste 🙂
I love this photo!

Ahh the good old days…miss ya’ll!
