So I had some blood work done today and I’m not feeling wonderful about it so there’s a chance with all the excitement of tonight’s episode I get woozy and pass out. I don’t want anyone to worry. I’ll be ok. It’s just that they didn’t give me any Lorna Doone’s afterward. I should also probably say that while I’m not ready to tell you what the blood work was for, I am not dying, nor am I pregnant. A little mystery never hurt anyone.
So tonight some couples are doing the Jive and others are doing the Quickstep. While there were definite winners last week, there were very few losers. I think Maria Menunous needs to step up her game because she has what it takes, but if she doesn’t she’s going to get overshadowed. There’s Gavin DeGraw’s hat again. Sign. Oh. William Levy’s in a tuxedo. I need a second to take that in. Tristan’s also in a tuxedo! I am definitely going to pass out you guys.

It’s been way too long since I heard the drum beat of the DWTS theme music; way too long since I’ve watched to see if a celebrity was going to trip down those awful stairs, or if Brooke was going to say something narcissistic. The ballroom is back!
I’ve already told you, I think Jaleel White has this in the bag. But I was watching some rehearsal footage on Good Morning America this morning, and everyone looks pretty polished! It might be a tight race. I give my votes to the first person who dances a routine to Call Me, Maybe. Oh, and there’s Tristan. Ok, I give all my votes to him.
A few questions before we get going. Does Gavin DeGraw ever take off his hat? Why is Joey Fatone in the audience? It’s early to be pulling that card. Does anyone miss the Kardashians? No? Ok. Let’s get this season going!
Sadly I didn’t make my music video in time to catapult myself to fame early enough to make the cast of the upcoming season of DWTS, but don’t worry, I haven’t given up hope yet. You know who did make the Season 14 lineup? You don’t? Ok, I’ll tell you.
At first glance, the list looks a little ho-hum: Jack Wagner, Melissa Gilbert, Sherri Shepherd, Jaleel White, Martina Navratilova, Maria Menounos, Gladys Knight, Katherine Jenkins, Roshon Fegan, Donald Driver, Gavin DeGraw and William Levy. Some of these people I’ve never heard of. But I think the key to this season is going to be the pairings, which were made for good television:
