Narcissistic Question of the Day: Can I Pull Off This Look?

I think I look like Jay-Z.

In second grade I decided that I really needed to have glasses. So I pretended I couldn’t see the blackboard from my desk and my mom took me for a checkup with her optometrist. Vision: 20/20.

So I never got my wish. That is until this weekend when my cousin Sam gave me these awesome specs! So I wore them all weekend in Philly, because I know no one there that would point and laugh at me. But now I’m back in the real world and need to make an important life decision: do these glasses look good on me, or am I really just trying way, way too hard.

Scenes from the Green Line: Merry Christmas Edition

There’s a new guy at the Cleveland Circle T stop in the mornings (BTW: the CC T stop has literally become just like my elementary school bus stop), and for days it’s been bothering me that he looked so gosh darn familiar, but I couldn’t place him. Well, it has finally hit me: the Heat Miser from The Year without Santa Claus. How seasonally appropriate!

Is it creepy that I took a picture of him with my bberry? You betcha! But I’m embracing it.

Lindsey and Chris’ Wedding: One Dress, Two Dress, Three Dress, Floor

Lindsey and Chris’ wedding has come and gone and I have to say, what a party. I haven’t danced so hard in my entire life, and on top of that the music, the food, the drinks, the decorations…all spectacularly beautiful. I hope the happy couple enjoyed themselves as much as I did.

And to recap such a spectacular night I have just the thing – Wedding Superlatives! Get excited. A random sampling of the best/worst-but-in-a-funny-way things of the evening.
