Can you hear it now: do-do-do-do-do-do-do-do….sorry, that’s the best way I know how to write out the CBS Final Four instrumental theme song. I’m a blogger not a musician. Anyway, can you believe it? College basketball practice starts today, and it seems like only yesterday I was recapping this, and this and this.
Last year at this time I was in West Virginia, celebrating the Mountaineers’ Midnight Madness. And they made it to the Final Four. So I’m pretty much magic. This year I’ll be at my cousin’s rehearsal dinner (I know, my priorities are very messed up right now). So I guess this means the season is anyone’s for the taking.
If you can’t make it out to your local college’s Midnight Madness tonight, or, like me, you have unavoidable family obligations you will possibly get wasted at, you can always tune into ESPN for your full dose of college basketball MADNESS. “ESPNU will televise four hours of Midnight Madness coverage beginning at 9 p.m. EST. The network will present extensive whip-around coverage of Midnight Madness events at seven schools, including defending national champion Duke, Kentucky, Memphis, Gonzaga, Kansas State and St. John’s.”
Now let’s hope CBS is revamping Jennifer Hudson’s One Shining Moment. Less J-Hud, more hoops please. (Ok, I just watched this again and now I’m crying. College basketball is so emotional.)
let the games begin…….time to start studying, Kelly–
march is not that far away…..good luck w/uncle pat’s pool.–love the college bball season!
