Thank You for 2011!

2011 was a group effort. It was a tough year, and it was a long year, but it was also a year of a lot of new beginnings. It took a village to make 2011 happen.

From March Madness to March sadness to the weddings of my cousins RJ and Fallon, and one of my best friends, Katie. We saw the births of two new Turnbulls and learned of two more on the way. I said my latest goodbye to the great town of Boston, and finally, finally made New York City my home. Who knew 2011 would be such a roller coaster?

So I dedicate this latest year-end video to all of you, the people in my life that make every day interesting and fill every minute with humor. To all of you I see every day, and to those I wish I could.

When I was little, I used to cry when my friends moved away. Living two feet from a military base, it happened quite often. My mom would tell me not to worry, and that if “we stayed in the same place, our friends would always know where to find us.” Well, the world has changed a lot since I was a little girl, but I’ve come to find that the people who love you will find you no matter where you are, and they will get to you, no matter how many the miles.

Happy New Year to all of you! I can’t wait to see what life brings us in 2012!

Geeze Kel, your blogs always result in inappropriate outbreaks at work, usually laughter when I have a room full of kids, but now of course this one has me crying! Incredible job, had a great time with you during our many get togethers this year. Excited for many more now that you’re only a short train trip away. Love you!
