Basketball Fever!

It’s only January (ok, close to February) but I’m pretty sure I’ve already surpassed my basketball game total from last season and the season before, combined! Between my St. John’s season tickets, trips to North Carolina for some ACC action, and a few Ivy-A10 match-ups here and there, it’s certainly been an exciting few months of college basketball for me. And now I share it with you.

Take a peek at my basketball life so far in NYC. See for yourself how Wally Szczerbiak’s eyebrows have a mind of their own. Get a good look at Lou Carnesecca in my creepy stalker picture. And of course, analyze the breakdown of Duke’s defense in their last second loss to FSU. I have at least 50 times. Enjoy!

After years of driving my parents around town illegally I was finally going to have a piece of paper to hand over to the police when they pulled me over. I could not have been more excited.

Brett Turnbull’s Bucket List

This past weekend I had the pleasure of babysitting my godson and cousin, Brett Turnbull. He’s nine and he’s awesome. If you’ve never read the story of this year’s best school photo, I’ve placed it here for you, and I suggest you do it now. It’s ok. We’ll wait. Let us know when you’re finished.

Ok, you’re back. So Brett and I had a lot of car time together this weekend because we’re both very popular and very busy. On one of our treks together, Brett sat quietly in deep thought for a good 10 minutes before turning to me and saying: “I’m really glad I’m not afraid of airplanes anymore.”
