What’s Your Number Baby

So I was just innocently walking to meet some friends in Boston’s Financial District last night, and I stumbled across the set of What’s Your Number?, a new film starring Anna Faris, or “the chick from the Scary Movies,” as some curmudgeon and jaded PA told me.

According to imdb.com, the basic storyline is “a woman looks back at the past twenty men she’s had relationships with in her life and wonders if one of them might be her one true love.” That’s a lot of relationships right? How old is this woman? I guess not all of them were serious, if you know what I mean.

Chicago is One Town That Won’t Let You Down

So it’s been a little over a week since I got back from Chicago, but I still think the pics, and the experience, are blogworthy, and therefore need to be posted.

Since my best friend Sam is now Dr. Sam, and began her residency at Rush Hospital June 28, it was only right that I go visit her before our friendship takes a four-year hiatus (Sam I miss you!). Her apartment, which lies right on the Chicago River, is sick, with floor-to-ceiling windows, granite counters and stainless steel appliances. Quite a move up from her’s and her husband Patrick’s one bedroom on Long Island. Congrats guys!

It’s Hot Out There Today, Kids

I thought yesterday was hot, but then I walked outside my building this morning and realized I was grossly mistaken. According to weather.com/J.C. Monahan, temperatures in Boston will rise to the high 90s today, but will feel like 104 degrees! Yikes. So much for reading in the Public Garden at lunch. My Irish skin won’t be able to handle it.

In related news, I’ve seen an inordinate amount of people walking along the Brighton streets with no clothes on since I got back into town yesterday. It’s almost as if they got so hot they just couldn’t take it anymore. I would have photographs for proof, but I’ve learned that people really don’t like when you take naked pictures of them without their knowledge. Except of course, the two ragamuffins pictured above.
