Don’t Worry Guys, I Found the Root of All Our Problems

Before we get going with tonight’s Presidential Debate, I wanted to let everyone know that I found the root of the economic crisis, the unemployment rate, and the obesity epidemic.

Yesterday, while I was innocently sitting in a Chipotle on Broadway and 110th Street (I know, this doesn’t give me a lot of credibility), I spied a full-grown man wearing this Nike t-shirt. Ok, let’s walk it back slowly.

1) Why would anyone admit to being lazy? I can certainly think of a few people this t-shirt would fit perfectly, but I know none of them would own up to the fact that they are squandering their talents. I don’t know the gentlemen who was sporting this garb yesterday, but judging by his dirty hair, headband, mesh basketball shorts, and slippers on the sidewalk, I’d venture to say he wasn’t being ironic. Army Beats Boston College; Gets First Win of the Season

Just wanted to share this video from last weekend’s BC/Army game. With West Point being the place of my childhood and Boston College being my alma mater, it was clear that my allegiances were torn Saturday. I wore my Superfan shirt, but all of my cheers were for the underdog. What a great game – thanks to everyone who came out, no matter who you cheered for!

Congratulations to Bill Schutsky, Army Hall of Fame 2012!

Friday night, the United States Military Academy at West Point inducted its 2012 class into the Army Sports Hall of Fame. Among those inductees was Bill Schutsky, a 1968 graduate from the academy, Army basketball captain, and our great family friend.

Not only was Bill a fantastic basketball player, he was a distinguished Army officer, and a great coach. And he is an amazing husband, father, grandfather, and friend. There is no person I know more deserving of this honor, and West Point is lucky to have such a wonderful person as a part of its community.

So, congratulations to Bill and his family! This is a great day. I feel so honored to have been able to make the above video to honor Bill’s sports career and I can hope that it does him justice. To Bill!
