Everyone remembers blonde girl, Marco and the gay BFF from December’s NoMad Blog T ride reenactment, right? Well today, as I innocently walked back to my office from a mission to buy new rain boots, she waltzed back into my life when I spotted her having a conversation outside her place of business (yes, I know where she works – so does everyone else on the T that day). Not to be outdone by Marco and his overalls, she could be overheard screaming saying to a co-worker:
Spotted: The “T”MI Girl is Back!

Free Cone Day!!
Ladies. Gentlemen. Kids of all ages. I’m happy to report that today, April 12, is Ben & Jerry’s Annual Free Cone Day, and, because I’ve had my ritual coffee ice cream in a sugar cone, I can safely say that things are going along swimmingly.
For those of you living in a cave, Free Cone Day is good ole Benjamin and Gerald’s way of thanking their customers for all their support and patronage. For all your hard work eating ice cream over the past 365 days, you get a free cone/cup of your choosing. While often it’s only one scoop per customer, I can tell you that the scoopers at the Ben & Jerry’s in the Park Place Hotel are more than generous.
Find the nearest Ben & Jerry’s location and enjoy! Don’t say I never gave you anything.

The Boston Sports Club Wants to Help Me Look Like Kate Middleton
Remember when the city of Boston tried to get me in shape by posting those intimidating Jennifer Aniston billboards everywhere? You know, the ones I always saw on my way to lunch? Well it seems the BSC has gotten in on the act, reminding me everyday that I too can be royalty if I just run that extra 10 minutes or do those 10 extra squats. At least, that’s what I’m taking from this poster.
Kate Middleton showed up in England looking positively perfect yesterday, rain and all, and it depressed me because when it rains here in Boston I usually look like this. So since I was already feeling bad about myself for not marrying a prince and not being able to pull off a navy blue skirt suit ensemble, my gym’s attempts to turn me into a princess were well received. Except that we’re not British, and the Boston Sports Club has absolutely nothing to do with the impending royal wedding whatsoever. In that case, this marketing campaign is just weird.
