According to People magazine, the love of my life got married yesterday. This is the worst news ever.
John Krasinski married Emily Blunt at the Villa d’Este in Como, Italy. The couple have been engaged since last August.
I was (not so) secretly hoping that this day would never come. Unfortunately, I like Emily Blunt enough to not be wishing that their marriage will end in complete disaster, or that she’ll develop some kind of incurable disease. Congrats to the happy couple, I guess.

The timing is way too fortuitous for Ms. Jolie.
I’m a conspiracy theorist and will pretty much form some kind of crazy plot to just about anything in my mind – like my suspicion that people are drugging my Chipotle burritos or that Michael Jackson actually died during that Pepsi commercial fire fiasco (this one is interesting and involves a sub-theory on Tupac still being alive, I may have to blog about it one day).
So, when I heard this morning that those Russian spies/suburban model-seducers were going to be traded for prisoners of our own that Russia has been holding for years, I couldn’t help but think that something fishy was going on.

When Bobby Gonzalez got the head coaching job at Manhattan years and years ago, my dad told me he was bad news. Can we get my dad an ESPN analyst job people? Can you see it now – Bobby Knight in his sweaters, Dad in his warm-up suits. The possibilities are endless!
Anyway, I digress. Basically what I’m trying to say is when I found out that the now disgraced former Seton Hall coach was shoplifting Ralph Lauren satchels in New Jersey, I wasn’t surprised. Well, maybe a little surprised, simply because I’m sure there are worse things he should be arrested for, like being shady.
